Every new field feels overwhelming at first. There's too much to learn, too many frameworks, and everyone online seems to already know everything.

That's where I was with AI. I'd read headlines about ChatGPT, played with a few prompts, and watched some YouTube videos — but I never sat down and actually learned how any of it works.

So I'm starting over, properly this time.

What this site is

AI with Charan is my public notebook. I'll write about:

• What I'm learning and how I'm learning it
• Small projects I build along the way
• Resources I find useful (check the resources page)
• Mistakes I make (there will be many)

The plan

I'm not trying to become an AI researcher overnight. The goal is practical:

1. Understand how large language models actually work
2. Build small apps that use AI in useful ways
3. Share what I learn so others can follow along
